Gideon Loewy is a man with vision, a designer with passion and an educator with a mission. An Architect-Designer he is founder and Director of Strategy and Design of Scandinavian Designers®, and designed projects ranging in scale from a pouring cap for a TetraPak carton, to a high-rise building in Taichung, Taiwan. He is most famous for his work for Bang & Olufsen, Denmark, and for his inspiring speeches. A graduate of The Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, Denmark, his works have received numerous awards including iF (Hanover), G-Mark (Japan), SMAU (Milan) and Innovalue Excellence (Taiwan). Working with premium, international companies for over 25 years, he has also become a branding specialist, and is a consultant to Taiwan's External Trade Organisation (TAITRA). Gideon Loewy is a Professor of Design at Chao-Yang University of Technology, Taiwan and a frequent speaker at international conferences. He is founder of The ThinkingCAPS Institute for Integrated and Holistic Thinking, and of The C-Spot Creativity Centre. Gideon Loewy is married to designer Chia-Ling LIAO, has two children and lives in Taichung, Taiwan.
