The C-Spot® is described by Prof Gideon Loewy as the "G-Spot" of the Mind, the place where the separate thinking modes dissolve into a single ecstatic experience of "global" awareness and creativity. In the book "The C-Spot® - Creativity Right, Left and Centre" (soon to be published) he suggests that the mind is a nested dimension, a field projected between the left and right lobes of the brain, and that creativity is neither left, nor right brain thinking, but a state of Mind at the centre of consciousness.

At the core of the ThinkingCAPS® model - which rethinks and represents the conventional thinking modes in a unique, graphic map - the C-Spot® coordinates and integrates current research and theory into a single, powerful tool for understanding, developing and managing the creative process at any level. The acronym "CAPS" stands for Creativity and Analytic, Practical and Synthetic Thinking. ThinkingCAPS® integrates concepts such as Right and Left Brain, Multiple Intelligence, Emotional Intelligence, Flow, Convergent and Divergent Thinking, Higher and Lower Mental faculties and many more ideas current in contemporary cognitive theory, into one holistic model.

The new theory is extremely easy to grasp and can be communicated to an average, normally-educated audience in an hour or two. The most important aspect of ThinkingCAPS® is that it shows how thinking can be quickly, easily and radically improved and new creative resources can be discovered, developed and applied immediately, be it in the carefully staged strategic upgrading of commercial enterprises or the fulfilment of the often inaccessable resources and potential of the individual.

An extensive set of models using the concept of "Fit" as its frame of reference for evaluation, ThinkingCAPS® is applicable in the complete range of human activity and endeavour from education, the practice of science and art, to business, design, marketing and branding and the emerging field of ethical, sustainable living.

Prof Loewy is currently a Visiting Professor at Seoul National University, Korea's top-ranking university.
